War is coming...

Suppressive Fire will once again be entering the studio August 12th to record our follow up to 'Bedlam.'  We are very happy to welcome Josh Bleeks to the fold as our new drummer and Will Saenz as our new bassist, Aaron Schmidt will now be handling 2nd lead guitar.  This new lineup is really the Mark II version of our band in that we've evolved so much musically since the Bedlam sessions. The new material is faster and more aggressive in parts, but also more varied and thought out while maintaining our riff oriented approach to songwriting. It'll be a hot minute before we can release any of the new songs as we plan to take our time over the next 2 months rounding it out. Planning on an early 2017 release to be honest. However, you can totally catch us shredding the new material live at upcoming shows. We're a new band, so we've gotta play the new material right? Come break your necks as we shred with our Raleigh brothers in Chateau. We'll be doing a back to back attack of Charlotte and Raleigh with them this September. The weekend following we'll finally be returning to Wilmington once again for the annual Death Fest.

Shows and events below:

9/16/16 - Charlotte - The Milestone

Shows coming up

We've been happily enjoying some down time between shows, working on more riffs and preparing for the release of our album. Joel Grind of Toxic Holocaust is taking care of the final production stage so we're just sitting back and waiting for him to finish destroying New Zealand and Australia.

We'll be again joining forces with our brothers in thrash, All Hell, for our first run to Richmond.  3:33 and Narrow Grave will be on the bill as well set to take place 10/16 at 25 watt.  Should be a killer show, All Hell's new album drops that weekend and it sounds KILLER. At least what's been posted. Check them out for your own good.

Then we've got two dates back to back with our friends Death of Kings (Atlanta).  Friday 10/23 we'll be in Raleigh pounding Slims with Hellrad (Philly) and our local friends Agony Divine. Slim's is always a good time, so mark that on your calendars. We'll be following down I-85 with Death of Kings afterwards to join Marrow of Earth and Neverfall down at the Radio Room in Greenville SC.  Really stoked for this one as well as I've only heard the room gets insane.  So yeah, 3 sweet shows, one spooky month.

Had such a blast last week and it was great playing Kings finally! That's been literally a bucketlist check since we started. Fantastic venue, excellent sound, some circle pit action. Fuck yes, you guys rule.  Also really enjoyed playing with Genocide Pact, Skemata, and Lesser Life.  Last Thurs we mozied to The Cave to meet our friends in Sonic Pulse and American Empire.  Had a minor catastrophe of Sonic Pulse's van breaking down 2 miles from the venue but grabbed them up, the van got towed and fixed and we had an excellent show.

Well, our tracks now are in the capable hands of Joel Grind. Let's see what he can do with them!  Release show will be in October (date to be announced soon).

Two shows immediately coming up- Hopscotch Music Festival, we'll be playing Thursday 9/10 at the Pour House during the day show with the Primitive Ways gang and 9/14 we'll be playing Local 506 in Raleigh with Gorbash, Lord Dying and TOXIC HOLOCAUST!
