We'd like to thank everyone for the support over this last year, it's been a while ride with a new album, lineup change, and 34 shows! We've got our noses to the grindstone now preparing some new material to release later this year, but we'll be back before you know it. In the meantime, we'll be playing 2/22 in Raleigh with our friends Black Mass, Led to the Grave, and Old Codger at The Maywood.
We’d like to officially introduce Cameron Micham to the Suppressive Fire lineup. Cameron brings a mix of thrash, death, and black metal expertise and will be holding down the blast. He’s no stranger in the local Raleigh scene as you’ve probably seen him drumming with his other rippin' band, Chateau. We're stoked to have him and excited to soon get back on the road to assault a city near you.
See you maniacs at the following.. 5/4 in Raleigh (All Hell, Suppressive Fire, Salmonella) 5/13 in Chesapeake (PlagueTheSuffering/Battlemaster/Suppressive Fire/Murder/Archaeobeast). 6/10 at (Raleigh Deathfest 2017 - Massive gig, so many good bands) It was a fantastic experience to kickoff the first night of the 2017 Decibel Magazine Tour and get to share a stage with Horrendous, Midnight, and old school legends Obituary and Kreator. Thanks to Decibel, The Underground, all the bands, all our old friends who made it out, and all the new maniacs who joined us in our metal endeavors! All of you are awesome, and we had an excellent time last night. Special thanks also to our bud Jeff Alpi who hooked us up with the video below of our opening song of the night! Check Jeff's YouTube page for a bunch of other cool stuff too. Stay tuned for what's next with Suppressive Fire -- no plans to slow down any time soon! It is truly an honor to open up for this legendary tour, so come join us in Charlotte on March 17th and be part of the action!
Guys... seriously... check out the event page HERE already... Kreator – Gods of Violence and their entire back catalog, they’re goddamn Kreator… Obituary – releasing their self-titled album that same day, holy satanic panic, on top of decades of excellent death metal… Midnight has been crushing it and is clearly coming from a similar range of influences as we are… and Horrendous, c’mon...Anareta? Go listen to it again, it's fantastic. Simply put, there is NO weak spot on this bill. Get there early, rock out with Suppressive Fire and prepare for the onslaught of violence that is this year’s Decibel Magazine Tour! We've been quiet for a minute, trying to recover and become human again after raging with our metal brothers in Dire Hatred through the southeast (check the vid in the sidebar!), and now we're ready and back for more. We had a blast with them and all the other bands we had the pleasure of sharing the stage and massacring audiences with and can't wait to do it again, but next on the agenda is worshiping metal with the Gods of Violence. -AS We are proud to unleash our sophomore album, "Nature of War."
The album highlights a transition to 4-piece, 8 new tracks, art by Matt Slime, mixing and mastered by Joel Grind, recording by Greg Klaiber, and has been released via Lost Apparitions Records. Pick your copy up today from our Bandcamp! |
