We rolled on from Worcester to NYC. Lucky 13 was quite an awesome venue! Horror memorabilia, tons of metal tour flyers, go-go dancers and our van didn't end up on cinder blocks!
Disclaimer: All bands have been really cool. Unfortunately, I didn't get good pics of everyone, so here's just some of the ones that came out better.
Lucky 13 and Sonic Pulse
We rolled on after that to Pine Hill NJ for a punk house show. That was an awesome experience. Really cool locals, great time, solid show, and Joseph broke his first guitar string in live playing in a year. Thus ending a 32 show streak of no string breakings.
Spinechain and record store tomfoolery.
We headed over the Kung Fu Necktie afterwards and explored the area some. It's located in a pretty cool neighborhood with a badass bar-arcade located nearby and several record shops. Nothing like picking up Hell Bent for Leather for $3.00! The show here was definitely one of the best we ever played, and one of the best experiences dealing with locals and really cool bands.
Original Contra arcade machine!!! Also, Goldeneye Pinball, Connoisseur, and the true meaning of Christmas... I mean pentagrams.
